About Me

1. How old do you wish you were?
   I think I’d like to be around 30-35, provided I thought and felt the way I do now.
2. Where were you when 9/11 happened?
   I have no idea, I’m not the type who remembers things by events.
3. What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
   I swear.
4. Do you consider yourself kind?
   For the most part I think I’m kind, but I’m also pretty damned miserable to some people some times.
5. If you had to get a tattoo, where and what would it be?
   I didn’t have to get one but I have gotten 3 in my life.  They’re pretty inconspicuous except for the star on my right hand.  I also have a bird (under my watch) and a heart (close to my shoulder).
6. If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
   I wouldn’t mind French since there are a lot of bilingual jobs available here in Canada.
7. Do you know your neighbors?
   Slightly.  I’ll say hi to them since I know they live here, and maybe some small talk if they initiate it, but otherwise, that’s the extent to which I want to know them.
8. What do you consider a vacation?
   Getting away anywhere is a vacation to me, but so is a day that I can sleep in til noon.
9. Do you follow your horoscope?
   I get one sent to me by email, but it doesn’t arrive til half way through the day, so I kind of use it to look back on and see if it predicts anything that actually happened.
10. Would you move for the person you loved?
    Sure, why not? Like I’ve got something more important going on in my life?
11. Are you touchy feely?
    Sometimes, and sometimes people have told me that they thought I was aloof (which
    surprised me).
12. Do you believe that opposites attract?
    No.  Maybe on a sexual level they do for a while, but you need things in common in order to get along for the long term.
13. Dream job?
    Anything that utilizes my most enjoyable skills while paying me some really, really big bucks (did I say really, really big?).
14. Favorite channels?
    HGTV I guess, since I watch it a lot.
15. Favorite place to go on a weekend?
    Shopping. That’s my favourite place during the week too.
16. Showers or Bath?
    Always showers.  I can’t sit in a bathtub and relax and soak.  After a couple of minutes I’m in a hurry to wash and get out. Every once in a while I decide to try a bath again, but it’s the same thing. I try to sit and relax, really I do, but a minute or two is long enough to sit and relax.
17. Do you paint your nails?
    For the last 35 years at least, but only my toes.
18. Do you trust people easily?
    I think I do, but I think my judgment is pretty good at seeing who is trustworthy.
19. What are your phobias?
    I hate people tapping, or whistling, or humming, or jiggling, or forcing any unwanted action upon me.
20. Do you want kids?
    I’ve had kids, and I had them because I wanted them then, there were no mistakes.
21. Do you keep a handwritten journal? No, I have a blog.
22. Where would you rather be right now?
    I’m fine right here.
23. What makes you feel warm and safe?
    When my honey puts his arms around me, or hugs me for no reason – not doing it because he wants to get some.
24. Heavy or light sleep?
    I can sleep through anything. Getting to sleep is the problem.
25. Are you paranoid?
    About what? Is there something to be paranoid about? Should I be paranoid?
26. Are you impatient?
    You’ve probably never met anyone as impatient as I am.
27. Who can you relate to?
    I don’t relate to anyone really – I guess I’m not a very empathetic person.
28. How do you feel about interracial couples?
    Like it’s my concern who somebody dates?
29. Have you been burned by love? Not burned, but hurt.  But that was probably a good thing, you know, made me stronger, grow up a bit, yada yada.
30. What’s your life motto?
    Always be sincere, even when you don’t mean it.
31. What’s your main ringtone on your mobile?
    Kashmir.
32. What were you doing at midnight last night?
    Watching a movie.
33. Who was your last text message from?
    I think it was from Telus to tell me that my ringtone was downloaded.
34. Whose bed did you sleep in last night?
    Mine.
35. What color shirt are you wearing?
    I’m not wearing a shirt right now (it’s hot in here).
36. Most recent movie you watched?
    The Eye (rented it – kept dozing off but when I’d wake, I certainly didn’t feel like I’d missed anything).
37. Name five things you have on you at all times?
    Purse, driver’s license, cellphone, glasses, keys.
38. What color are your bed sheets?
    Taupe-y green with a dusty grey-blue pattern.
39. How much cash do you have on you right now?
    About $14.
40. What is your favorite part of chicken?
    Drumstick, or any dark meat.
41. What’s your favorite town/city?
    I’d have to say Toronto since I’ve never lived anywhere else.

    I find my ideal job that pays really, really big bucks.
43. Why do you have this website?
    I have lots of websites, this one is mostly just to put up some pictures when I feel like it.
44. What did you have for dinner last night?
    Chinese food.
45. How tall are you barefoot?
    5’6″-ish – I used to be 5’7″, but obviously I’ve started shrinking.
46. Have you ever smoked crack?
    No, not interested.
47. Do you own a gun?
    I’d be scared to own a gun.  I’d be scared that I might get mad and shoot someone.
48. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
    I usually have a tea when I first get up, then I head to Tim’s for a coffee fix.
49. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?
    At this age I think a worm on a hook would do just as much for me as anything else. I don’t think I have any allure left.
50. Do you have A.D.D.?
    Sometimes it seems like it since I half start something, go on to the next thing, come back and find the first thing, then start a third thing.
51. What time did you wake up today?
    5:00 a.m. (during the week it’s 6:00 or 6:30).
52. Current worry?
    Not enough money.
53. Current hate?
    People (including family) who use me for whatever they need and never think of giving back.
54. Favorite place to be?
    Home with my honey.
55. Where would you like to travel?
    I’d like to go anywhere outside North America.
56. Where do you think you’ll be in 10 yrs?
    Probably dead.
57. Last thing you ate?
    Chinese food – and I’ll probably be eating it for the next 5 days just to finish it off.
58. What songs do you sing in the shower?
    I don’t sing in the shower. I do, however, sing at the computer when I’m playing music and the mood strikes me.
59. Last person that made you laugh?
    My honey.
60. Worst injury you’ve ever had?
    Sometimes my back goes out and I can’t even walk or sit up on the toilet. Although I did break my arm once, and I dislocated a shoulder playing baseball, and I’ve had surgery. The back problem probably still qualifies as the worst.
61. Does someone have a crush on you?
    Of course, everyone has a crush on me, or they’d like to crush me, or they’d like to pour Orange Crush on me… hmmm, one of those.
62. What is your favorite candy?
    If we’re talking chocolate, it’s Lindors.  Otherwise I’m not that big on candy, but I don’t mind gummie bears.
