I was stopped at a red light when I noticed this owl(?) sitting on a fencepost in Markham. It seems to be an animal (or bird) paradise up there. They’re everywhere.

Look both ways

I decided to paint a picture of the geese for a change. This reminds me of children crossing the street and the parents taking them across to make sure they look both ways.

Jesus on the Cross

I saw this crucifix at St. Philip Neri church in Downsview where we went for my daughter’s grade eight graduation. I used to go to this church when I was a kid. It was the first time I’ve been there since I was around her age. I don’t remember this crucifix, though.
