Ballet School

We went downtown, the day before the Gay Pride Parade. As we were stuck in traffic, at least we got to take some pictures.

What I like about this picture is that it takes a minute to decide whether the girls are standing inside the building or on the balcony of the reflected building.

Clouds that look black and white

I know, I know, like I don’t have enough cloud pictures up here – here is yet another one that I took tonight.

It was a fairly muggy, intermittently overcast day that wouldn’t have been too hot if it hadn’t been for the humidity, which I think put it up to about 35.

So I was out looking at clouds because you and I both know that I love clouds, and I wanted to get something different than the bright, sunny day with clouds, and I succeeded.

This picture almost looks like a black and white shot – that may just be because of my crappy camera work, but regardless of the reason, I love the way the clouds look almost spooky here with that poor little plane travelling through them.

I know that it’s wondrous to be on a plane going through the clouds, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s just as gorgeous to be on the ground photographing it.

Cloud Appreciation Society

The Cloud Appreciation SocietyThe other day I mentioned the Cloud Appreciation Society and how I’d like to join.

Well I did join – I think it was a total of $10 or $11 Canadian dollars, and yesterday I got my certificate.

I’m so psyched. As you know from my Flickr account, I have a little bit of an obsession with clouds. I even took more pics today because there were some good clouds.

Ok, so we all have our little eccentricities – this, I guess, is one of mine.

I’m thrilled to be a member. Congratulations to me *woohoo*!
