I Spend Time Reflecting

71 Front Street East

I love how clear the church and building reflections are in the doorway of this building. I almost feel as if I’m looking directly at them.

And if you look closely enough, you’ll see my reflection standing and taking the picture. I was wearing the pink shoes with a pink purse today.

Talent Show

My daughter at the talent show

Today my daughter’s school held a talent show on the last day of school. Here she is on her second song, the first song was Alouette (played really fast).

Unfortunately, there were tons of mistakes made during the playing. Kids started singing along with the song, but then the mistakes started and they stopped. They tried singing along again, but there were more mistakes, and so they just gave up.

It must be nerve-wracking to play in front of an audience, especially when you’re used to playing a keyboard and switch over to a piano. I can’t even handle playing the keyboard if someone else is in my house. I start to get all shaky and start making mistakes.

It’s good for her that she has the nerve to get up in front of all these people and play. Now I just hope she practices more so she can forego all the errors.

From the Parking Lot

Painting

Every day when I go to work, this is the site I see after parking my car. I especially like this picture because it looks so much like a painting to me.

Resizing it down to 640 makes it lose some of its clarity, but it’s also on my flickr pages here.
