Website Problems

I can’t tell you how many problems I’ve had over the past month with hosting websites. I own 5 domains and I’ve been switching stuff back and forth between different providers.

While this site is hosted with Netfirms and I’ve never had a problem with this domain, I have had many problems using other servers and other providers.

I switched one of my biggest domains last week because of database server problems. I switched it to a spot hosted in Utah. Well they were great, except I kept having problems in the traceroute on the way to Utah which was slowing the whole thing down.

So now I’ve switched it to another provider in Toronto, and I’m waiting for the dns servers to propagate before I can do anything there. I just can’t believe it’s so difficult to find something good, and fast. It’s a simple thing to ask for.

So I just wanted to rant a bit. That’s about all I have to say. I think I’ll go watch a movie now.
